Amending Reg. 949 of R.R.O. 1990
(Parking Infractions)
1. Subsection 9 (1) of Regulation 949 of the Revised Regulations of Ontario, 1990 is amended by striking out “Ontario Court (Provincial Division)” and substituting “Ontario Court of Justice”.
2. (1) Subsection 10 (1) of the Regulation is amended by striking out “Ontario Court (Provincial Division)” and substituting “Ontario Court of Justice”.
(2) Subsection 10 (2) of the Regulation is amended by striking out “of the local office of the Ontario Court (Provincial Division)”.
3. Paragraph 2 of subsection 11 (1) of the Regulation is amended by striking out “Ontario Court (Provincial Division)” and substituting “Ontario Court of Justice”.
4. Subsection 12 (2) of the Regulation is amended by striking out “municipality designated in the Table to section 13” and substituting “municipality that has entered into an agreement described in clause 18.6 (1) (a) of the Act”.
5. Section 13 of the Regulation is revoked and the following substituted:
13. (1) A municipality that has entered into an agreement described in clause 18.6 (1) (a) of the Act may deduct the allowances prescribed under sections 12 and 12.1 of this Regulation from the court costs it collects in connection with a fine levied for convictions respecting parking infractions under its by-laws.
(2) The court costs remaining after the deductions are made shall be submitted to,
(a) Ontario; or
(b) if applicable, the municipality that has entered into an agreement under Part X of the Act to administer the court office to which the certificate requesting conviction was sent.
6. Section 16 of the Regulation is revoked.

7. This Regulation come into force on the day it is filed.
