Amending Reg. 717 of R.R.O. 1990
(GENERAL)
1. Sections 1, 2, 2.1 and 2.1.1 of Regulation 717 of the Revised Regulations of Ontario, 1990 are revoked.
2. The Regulation is amended by adding the following heading before section 3:

3. Subsection 18 (2) of the Regulation is amended by striking out “at a government store is an official” and substituting “at a government store, except a government store to which an authorization under clause 3 (1) (e.1) of the Act applies, is an official”.
4. The Regulation is amended by adding the following heading before section 18:
Special Occasion Permits
5. Subsection 19 (1) of the Regulation is amended by striking out “may be purchased at a government store only after the issue of a purchase permit” at the end and substituting “may be purchased at a government store, but not at a government store to which an authorization under clause 3 (1) (e.1) of the Act applies, and the liquor may only be purchased after the issue of a purchase permit”.
6. Subsection 20 (1) of the Regulation is amended by striking out “any government store” at the end and substituting “any government store, except a government store to which an authorization under clause 3 (1) (e.1) of the Act applies”.
7. The Regulation is amended by adding the following heading before section 21:

8. This Regulation comes into force on the day it is filed.
