Amending O. Reg. 224/09

(TAX RATES)

1. (1) Subsection 1 (1) of Ontario Regulation 224/09 is amended by striking out “2015” and substituting “2016”.

(2) Subsection 1 (2) of the Regulation is amended by striking out “2015” and substituting “2016”.

2. (1) Subsection 2 (1) of the Regulation is amended by striking out “$0.12” and substituting “$0.24”.

(2) Subsection 2 (2) of the Regulation is amended by striking out “$2.65” and substituting “$5.05”.

3. Section 4 of the Regulation is revoked and the following substituted:

Minimum annual tax

4. The minimum amount of tax payable under the Act on land for a taxation year is,

(a) $12.50 in respect of land in the farm property class or the managed forests property class;

(b) $50 in respect of land in any other property class.

4. Tables 1 and 2 to the Regulation are revoked and the following substituted:
