Amending O. Reg. 199/07

(COMMERCIAL MOTOR VEHICLE INSPECTIONS)

1. (1) Clause (b) of the definition of “commercial motor vehicle” in subsection 1 (1) of Ontario Regulation 199/07, as remade by subsection 1 (1) of Ontario Regulation 421/15, is amended by striking out “a mobile crane”.

(2) Subsection 1 (2) of the Regulation is amended by adding the following definition:

“mobile equipment vehicle” has the same meaning as in Ontario Regulation 398/16 (Road-Building Machines) made under the Act;

2. Subsection 1 (7) of Schedule 7 to the Regulation is amended by adding the following paragraph:

  2.1. In the case of a mobile equipment vehicle that does not bear the manufacturer’s markings set out in paragraph 2, it must have manufacturer’s markings equivalent to those set out in paragraph 2.

Commencement

3. This Regulation comes into force on the later of the day section 7 of Schedule 12 to the Jobs for Today and Tomorrow Act (Budget Measures), 2016 comes into force and the day this Regulation is filed.
