Amending Reg. 727 of R.R.O. 1990

(WOOL)

1. Section 4 of Regulation 727 of the Revised Regulations of Ontario, 1990 is revoked.

2. Section 5 of the Regulation is revoked and the following substituted:

5. For the purposes of this Regulation, the grades of wool are set out in the Table to this section.

3. (1) Subsection 9 (2) of the Regulation is amended by striking out “wool statement in Form 1” and substituting “a wool grading statement”.

(2) Subsection 9 (3) of the Regulation is amended by striking out “wool statement” and substituting “wool grading statement”.

(3) Section 9 of the Regulation is amended by adding the following subsection:

(4) A wool grading statement completed under this section shall include the following information:

1. The name, address and telephone number of the warehouser.

2. The name, address and account number of the producer.

3. The name of the wool collector who collected or received the wool.

4. The lot number of the wool.

5. The number of sacks of wool in the lot.

6. The gross weight, tare weight and net weight of the lot.

7. The pounds of wool, price per pound and total price for each grade of wool in the lot.

8. The total price, price adjustments and net price of the wool in the lot.

9. The grader’s name.

10. The date the wool was received by the warehouser and the date it was graded.

4. (1) Section 10 of the Regulation is amended by striking out “in Form 2”.

(2) Section 10 of the Regulation is amended by adding the following subsection:

(2) A wool statement completed under this section shall be signed by the warehouser and shall include the following information:

1. The name and address of the producer.

2. The name of the wool collector.

3. The number of sacks of wool collected or received.

4. The weight of wool collected or received.

5. The date the wool was received.

6. The price per pound, the total price and any adjustments to the total price of the wool.

7. The balance paid to the producer and the date it was paid.

5. Forms 1 and 2 of the Regulation are revoked.

Commencement

6. This Regulation comes into force on the later of July 1, 2017 and the day it is filed.
