Amending O. Reg. 125/04

(APPLES - MARKETING)

1. Subsection 5 (3) of Ontario Regulation 125/04 is amended by striking out “September 1” and substituting “September 16”.

2. Subsection 7 (1) of the Regulation is amended by striking out “of the fourth Wednesday of August of” and substituting “on August 31 in”.

3. (1) Subsection 8 (1) of the Regulation is amended by striking out “of the fourth Wednesday of August” and substituting “on August 31”.

(2) Subsection 8 (6) of the Regulation is amended by striking out “August 31” and substituting “September 15”.

4. The Regulation is amended by adding the following section:

Deadline not falling on business day

8.1 (1) If the date on or before which something is required to be done under sections 5 to 8 falls, in any given year, on a day that is not a business day, the requirement is satisfied if the thing is done on or before the next business day.

(2) In this section,

“business day” means a day that is not a Saturday or a day that is a holiday within the meaning of section 88 of the Legislation Act, 2006.

Commencement

5. This Regulation comes into force on the day it is filed.
