Amending O. Reg. 468/18
(GENERAL)
1. (1) Subsection 8.1 (2) of Ontario Regulation 468/18 is amended by striking out “75” and substituting “93”.
(2) Subsection 8.1 (3) of the Regulation is amended by striking out the portion before paragraph 1 and substituting the following:
(3) The issuance of 67 of the retail store authorizations permitted under subsection (2) is subject to the following allocation rules:
. . . . .
(3) Paragraph 6 of subsection 8.1 (3) of the Regulation is revoked.
(4) Section 8.1 of the Regulation is amended by adding the following subsection:
(3.1) The remaining 26 retail store authorizations permitted under subsection (2) may only be allocated,
(a) in respect of cannabis retail stores to be located on a reserve; and
(b) to a person who, on or after July 3, 2019 and before August 1, 2019, indicated in a form and manner acceptable to the Registrar that the person intends to apply for a retail store authorization in respect of a proposed cannabis retail store to be located on a reserve.
(5) Subsection 8.1 (4) of the Regulation is amended by striking out “subsection (3)” in the portion before clause (a) and substituting “subsection (3) or (3.1)”.

2. This Regulation comes into force on the day it is filed.
