Amending O. Reg. 392/19

(SPECIAL PAYMENTS FOR PHYSICIAN SERVICES)

1. Ontario Regulation 392/19 is amended by adding the following section:

Special payment, 2019/20

3. (1) A special payment is payable by the Plan to every physician in Ontario who,

(a)  rendered one or more insured services on or after April 1, 2019 and before April 1, 2020; or

(b)  received a payment pursuant to an arrangement under clause 2 (2) (a) of the Act on or after April 1, 2019 and before April 1, 2020.

(2) The amount of the special payment shall be calculated in accordance with the document of the Ministry entitled “Method for the Implementation of 2019/20 Compensation Increases in the 2019 Ministry of Health (Ministry) and Ontario Medical Association (OMA) Arbitration Award”.

Commencement

2. This Regulation is deemed to have come into force on February 1, 2021.
