Amending Reg. 552 of R.R.O. 1990

(GENERAL)

1. (1) Clause (f) of the definition of “schedule of dental benefits” in subsection 16 (8) of Regulation 552 of the Revised Regulations of Ontario, 1990 is amended by adding “but before November 5, 2021” at the end.

(2) The definition of “schedule of dental benefits” in subsection 16 (8) of the Regulation is amended by adding the following clause:

(g)  the document published by the Ministry of Health titled “Schedule of Benefits — Dental Services under the Health Insurance Act” dated October 15, 2021 (effective November 5, 2021), but does not include the “[Commentary…]” portions of the document, if the service is performed on or after November 5, 2021.

Commencement

2. This Regulation comes into force on November 5, 2021 or, if this Regulation is filed after that date, it is deemed to have come into force on that date.
