Amending O. Reg. 17/07

(TRANSFER OF CONTAINERS TO BREWERS RETAIL INC. AND OTHERS)

1. The title to Ontario Regulation 17/07 is amended by striking out “TO BREWERS RETAIL INC. AND OTHERS” at the end.

2. Section 1 of the Regulation is revoked and the following substituted:

Prohibition

1. No person shall transfer a container to Brewers Retail Inc., the Liquor Control Board of Ontario or an agent of Brewers Retail Inc. or the Liquor Control Board of Ontario for the purpose of receiving or attempting to receive a payment as a refund of a deposit unless a deposit on the container was collected by an operator of a retail store within the meaning of the Liquor Licence and Control Act, 2019.

Commencement

3. This Regulation comes into force on the later of the day subsection 3 (1) of Schedule 22 (Liquor Licence and Control Act, 2019) to the Plan to Build Ontario Together Act, 2019 comes into force and the day this Regulation is filed.
