Amending O. Reg. 147/97

(TOLL DEVICES)

1. Subsection 3 (2) of Ontario Regulation 147/97 is revoked and the following substituted:

(2) Section 191.2 of the Act applies to all heavy vehicles except those that are,

(a) emergency vehicles as defined in subsection 144 (1) of the Act;

(b) road building machines;

(c) motor vehicles registered to the Department of National Defence; or

(d) motor vehicles travelling on the King’s Highways that connect the highway between the easterly end of Highway 407, as defined in the Highway 407 Act, 1998, and Highway 35/115 to Highway 401.

Commencement

2. This Regulation comes into force on the later of April 5, 2022 and the day it is filed.
