Amending O. Reg. 333/08
(GENERAL)
1. (1) Paragraph 4 of subsection 2.1 (1) of Ontario Regulation 333/08 is amended by striking out “Credit Unions and Caisses Populaires Act, 1994” at the end and substituting “Credit Unions and Caisses Populaires Act, 2020”.
(2) Paragraph 5 of subsection 2.1 (1) of the Regulation is revoked and the following substituted:
5. A subsidiary of a credit union established or acquired in accordance with the Credit Union and Caisses Populaires Act, 2020 or an affiliate of a credit union within the meaning of that Act.
2. Subclause 59 (2) (a) (iii) of the Regulation is amended by striking out “Credit Unions and Caisses Populaires Act, 1994” and substituting “Credit Unions and Caisses Populaires Act, 2020”.
Commencement
3. This Regulation comes into force on the later of the day section 1 of Schedule 7 (Credit Unions and Caisses Populaires Act, 2020) to the Protect, Support and Recover from COVID-19 Act (Budget Measures), 2020 comes into force and the day this Regulation is filed.
