Amending O. Reg. 134/98
(GENERAL)
1. (1) Paragraph 2 of subsection 6 (1) of Ontario Regulation 134/98 is amended by adding “Subject to subsection (3)” at the beginning.
(2) Section 6 of the Regulation is amended by adding the following subsection:
(3) Paragraph 2 of subsection (1) does not apply with respect to a person for the purposes of determining eligibility for emergency assistance if that person has been granted an emergency authorization to enter into and remain in Canada for humanitarian reasons, for the duration of that authorization or any subsequent authorizations issued for the same purpose.
Commencement
2. This Regulation comes into force on the day it is filed.
