Amending O. Reg. 316/07

(DESIGNATION AND CLASSIFICATION OF PROVINCIAL PARKS)

1. (1) The item for Murphys Point Provincial Park (Natural Environment Class) in Table 1 of Ontario Regulation 316/07 is revoked and the following substituted:

 

Murphys Point Provincial Park (Natural Environment Class)

In the geographic Township of Burgess, in the County of Lanark, containing 1115 hectares, more or less, being composed of those parts of the said geographic township designated as Parts 1 to 10, both inclusive, on a plan known as Murphys Point Provincial Park (Natural Environment Class), filed on June 28, 2021 with the Office of the Surveyor General of Ontario in the Ministry of Northern Development, Mines, Natural Resources and Forestry.

 

(2) The item for Petawawa Terrace Provincial Park (Nature Reserve Class) in Table 1 of Ontario Regulation 316/07 is revoked and the following substituted:

 

Petawawa Terrace Provincial Park (Natural Environment Class)

In the geographic Township of Petawawa and Islands in Allumette Lake (Ottawa River) in the Town of Petawawa, County of Renfrew, containing 201 hectares, more or less, being composed of those parts of the said geographic township and islands designated as Parts 1 to 6, both inclusive, on a plan known as Petawawa Terrace Provincial Park (Natural Environment Class), filed on September 16, 2021 with the Office of the Surveyor General of Ontario in the Ministry of Northern Development, Mines, Natural Resources and Forestry.

 

(3) The item for Puzzle Lake Provincial Park (Natural Environment Class) in Table 1 of Ontario Regulation 316/07 is revoked and the following substituted:

 

Puzzle Lake Provincial Park (Natural Environment Class)

In the geographic Township of Sheffield, in the Municipal Township of Stone Mills, County of Lennox and Addington and the geographic Township of Hinchinbrooke, in the Municipal Township of Central Frontenac, County of Frontenac, containing 3777 hectares, more or less, being composed of those parts of the said geographic townships designated as Parts 1 to 8, both inclusive, on a plan known as Puzzle Lake Provincial Park (Natural Environment Class), filed on September 16, 2021 with the Office of the Surveyor General of Ontario in the Ministry of Northern Development, Mines, Natural Resources and Forestry.

 

(4) The item for Short Hills Provincial Park (Natural Environment Class) in Table 1 of Ontario Regulation 316/07 is revoked and the following substituted:

 

Short Hills Provincial Park (Natural Environment Class)

In the geographic Townships of Louth, Grantham, Pelham and Thorold, in the cities of St. Catharines and Thorold and the Town of Pelham, all in the Regional Municipality of Niagara, containing 720 hectares, more or less, being composed of those parts of the said geographic townships designated as Parts 1 to 14, both inclusive, on a plan known as Short Hills Provincial Park (Natural Environment Class), filed on December 10, 2019 with the Office of the Surveyor General of Ontario in the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry.

 

Commencement

2. This Regulation comes into force on the later of July 1, 2022 and the day this Regulation is filed.
