Amending O. Reg. 530/22

(PART VI.1 OF THE ACT)

1. Section 10 of Ontario Regulation 530/22 is revoked and the following substituted:

Powers re by-laws, s. 284.11.1 of the Act

10. (1) Section 284.11.1 of the Act does not apply with respect to,

(a)  by-laws under sections 238, 289 and 290 of the Act; and

(b)  by-laws with respect to the filling of vacancies under section 263 of the Act.

(2) Section 284.11.1 of the Act applies with respect to by-laws under section 2 of the Development Charges Act, 1997.

Commencement

2. This Regulation comes into force on the later of the day section 8 of Schedule 3 to the Better Municipal Governance Act, 2022 comes into force and the day this Regulation is filed.
