Amending O. Reg. 198/17

(DISTRIBUTION RATE-PROTECTED RESIDENTIAL CONSUMERS)

1. Section 11 of Ontario Regulation 198/17 is amended by adding the following subsection:

(3) In the event of a conflict between a limitation period referred to in subsection (2) and a limitation period provided for in section 36.1.1 of the Electricity Act, 1998, the limitation period that provides the longest time period for a claim to be made prevails.

Commencement

2. This Regulation comes into force on the later of July 1, 2023 and the day this Regulation is filed.
