Amending O. Reg. 271/91
(GASOLINE VOLATILITY)
1. Section 2 of Ontario Regulation 271/91 is amended by adding the following subsection:
(6) Despite subsection (1), a person to whom subsection (1) applies may cause or permit motor gasoline that has a vapour pressure that exceeds the volatility limit to leave the bulk plant, service station or terminal during the period that begins on May 16 and ends on May 31 if it is done for the purpose of,
(a) emptying the bulk plant, service station or terminal of motor gasoline that has a vapour pressure exceeding the volatility limit; or
(b) transitioning the motor gasoline in the bulk plant, service station or terminal to gasoline that has a vapour pressure that does not exceed the volatility limit.
2. Subsection 5 (1) of the Regulation is amended by adding “in accordance with a method referred to in section 6” after “determined” in the portion before clause (a).
3. Section 6 of the Regulation is amended by adding “subsection 5 (1) and” after “purposes of” in the portion before paragraph 1.

4. This Regulation comes into force on the day it is filed.
