Amending Reg. 421 of R.R.O. 1990

(LOCAL BOARDS)

1. Section 1 of Regulation 421 of the Revised Regulations of Ontario, 1990 is revoked and the following substituted:

1. Each local board shall keep minutes of all meetings and shall provide the Commission with access to those minutes upon request.

2. Sections 8 and 9 of the Regulation are revoked and the following substituted:

8. Within four months after the end of its fiscal year, each local board shall,

(a)  publish, in one issue of at least one edition of a newspaper or magazine or other publication having a general distribution among its producers, the auditor’s report referred to in section 5, the local board’s annual statement of operations and its financial report; or

(b)  furnish to the producers of the regulated product, during the fiscal year, copies of the auditor’s report referred to in section 5, the local board’s annual statement of operations and its financial report.

9. A local board shall provide a copy of a report or statement that has been made available to a producer in paper or electronically under section 8 in the other format if requested to do so by a producer.

Commencement

3. This Regulation comes into force on the day it is filed.
