Amending O. Reg. 100/02

(Teacher Qualifying Test)

1. (1) Paragraph 1 of subsection 3 (1) of Ontario Regulation 100/02 is revoked and the following substituted:

1. The following types of certificates that indicate a concentration in technological studies:

i. certificates of qualification referred to in section 3 of that regulation,

ii. interim certificates of qualification referred to in section 13 of that regulation, and

iii. interim certificates of qualification (limited) referred to in section 13.1 of that regulation.

(2) Paragraph 7 of subsection 3 (1) of the Regulation is revoked and the following substituted:

7. Certificates of qualification (restricted) granted in accordance with section 22 of that regulation.

2. Subsections 4 (1) and (2) of the Regulation are revoked and the following substituted:

Temporary exemption

(1) The following certificates may be granted under section 18 of the Ontario College of Teachers Act, 1996 to an eligible person who is required to pass a qualifying test under section 10.1 of the Act and has not done so, on the condition that the person pass a qualifying test within one year of the date on which the certificate is granted:

1. An interim certificate of qualification (provisional) referred to in section 13.2 of Ontario Regulation 184/97.

2. An interim certificate of qualification (limited, provisional) referred to in section 13.3 of Ontario Regulation 184/97.
