Amending Reg. 837 of R.R.O. 1990

(Designated Substance — Asbestos)

1. (1) Subsection 4 (1) of Regulation 837 of the Revised Regulations of Ontario, 1990 is amended by striking out “metre” and substituting “centimetre”.

(2) Subsection 4 (4) of the Regulation is amended by striking out “subsections (1), (2) and (3)” and substituting “subsection (1)”.

(3) Subsection 4 (7) of the Regulation is amended by striking out “subsection (1), (2) or (3)” wherever it appears and substituting in each case “subsection (1)”.

2. Subsection 5 (1) of the Regulation is amended by striking out “subsections 4 (1), (2) and (3)” and substituting “subsection 4 (1)”.

3. Subsection 16 (2) of the Regulation is amended by striking out “Workers’ Compensation Act” at the end and substituting “Workplace Safety and Insurance Act, 1997”.
