Amending O. Reg. 400/98

(Tax Matters — Tax Rates for School Purposes)

1. (1) Paragraph 4 of subsection 1 (1) of Ontario Regulation 400/98 is amended by adding “and 2005” at the end.

(2) Subsection 1 (4) of the Regulation is amended by adding “and 2005” after “for 2004”.

2. Subsection 2 (7) of the Regulation is amended by adding “and 2005” after “For 2004”.

3. Paragraph 7 of subsection 3 (2) of the Regulation is revoked and the following substituted:

7. For 2004 and 2005, Table 16.

4. (1) Subsection 9 (8) of the Regulation is amended by adding “and 2005” after “For 2004” in the portion before paragraph 1.

(2) Subsection 9 (9) of the Regulation is amended by striking out “the 2004 tax ratio established for the property class” in the portion before paragraph 1 and substituting “the tax ratio established for the year for the property class”.

(3) Subparagraph 2 i of subsection 9 (9) of the Regulation is revoked and the following substituted:

i. multiplying the assessment for each property in the property class by the tax ratio applicable to that property class, and

(4) Subsection 9 (10) of the Regulation is amended by striking out “the 2004 tax ratio established for the property class” in the portion before paragraph 1 and substituting “the tax ratio established for the year for the property class”.

(5) Subparagraph 2 i of subsection 9 (10) of the Regulation is revoked and the following substituted:

i. multiplying the assessment for each property in the property class by the tax ratio applicable to that property class, and

(6) Subsection 9 (13) of the Regulation is amended by adding “and 2005” after “for 2004”.

5. (1) The heading to Table 15 of the Regulation is amended by adding “and 2005” after “for 2004”.

(2) Table 15 of the Regulation is amended by striking out the following item:

6. The heading to Table 16 of the Regulation is amended by adding “and 2005” after “for 2004”.
