Amending Reg. 950 of R.R.O. 1990

(Proceedings Commenced by Certificate of Offence)

1. Items 276 to 287 of Schedule 43 to Regulation 950 of the Revised Regulations of Ontario, 1990 are revoked and the following substituted:

 

	276.	Drive with seat belt removed	subsection 106 (1)
	277.	Drive with seat belt inoperative	subsection 106 (1)
	278.	Drive with seat belt modified	subsection 106 (1)
	279.	Driver — fail to properly wear seat belt	subsection 106 (2)
	280.	Passenger — fail to occupy position with seat belt	clause 106 (3) (a)
	281.	Passenger — fail to properly wear seat belt	clause 106 (3) (b)
	282.	Drive while passenger under 16 fails to occupy position with seat belt	subclause 106 (4) (a) (i)
	283.	Drive while passenger under 16 fails to properly wear seat belt	subclause 106 (4) (a) (ii)

2. This Regulation comes into force on the later of the day section 1 of the Highway Traffic Amendment Act (Seat Belts), 2006 comes into force and the day this Regulation is filed.
