Amending Reg. 587 of R.R.O. 1990
(Equipment)
1. Section 1 of Regulation 587 of the Revised Regulations of Ontario, 1990 is revoked.
2. (1) Subsection 2 (1) of the Regulation is amended by striking out “the brake test” and substituting “a brake test”.
(2) Subsection 2 (2) of the Regulation is amended by striking out “the brake test” and substituting “a brake test”.
3. (1) Section 3 of the Regulation is amended by adding the following subsection:
(2) A testing device that measures stopping distance based on peak deceleration shall be used for the purposes of subsection (1).
(2) Items 5 and 6 of the Table to section 3 of the Regulation are revoked and the following substituted:
