1. (1) Paragraphs 1, 3, 4 and 6 of subsection 26 (1) of Ontario Regulation 340/94 are revoked and the following substituted:

2. The Regulation is amended by adding the following section:
Fee Adjustment — Consumer Price Index
26.1 (1) Beginning on September 1, 2014, and on every September 1 after that, the fees prescribed in paragraphs 1, 3, 4 and 6 of subsection 26 (1) are the fees for the previous 12-month period adjusted by the percentage change in the Ontario Consumer Price Index between the previous two calendar years.
(2) The actual fees prescribed in paragraphs 1, 3, 4 and 6 of subsection 26 (1) are the amounts determined by the calculation described in subsection (1) rounded to the nearest quarter of a dollar.
(3) If the percentage change in the Ontario Consumer Price Index between the previous two calendar years results in a negative amount, the fees prescribed in paragraphs 1, 3, 4 and 6 of subsection 26 (1) shall remain at the same level as the previous year.
(4) In this section, the percentage change in the Ontario Consumer Price Index between two calendar years is the percentage change in the Consumer Price Index for Ontario (All-Items) between those years as published by Statistics Canada under the authority of the Statistics Act (Canada).
3. The Regulation is amended by adding the following heading immediately before section 27:

4. (1) Subject to subsections (2) to (6), this Regulation comes into force on the later of July 1, 2012 and the day it is filed.
(2) Subsection 1 (2) comes into force on November 1, 2012.
(3) Subsections 1 (1) and (5) come into force on September 1, 2013.
(4) Subsection 1 (3) comes into force on November 1, 2013.
(5) Section 2 comes into force on September 1, 2014.
(6) Subsection 1 (4) comes into force on November 1, 2014.
