Amending O. Reg. 406/00

(RULES OF VINTNERS QUALITY ALLIANCE ONTARIO RELATING TO TERMS FOR VQA WINE)

1. Paragraph 4 of subsection 3 (2) of Ontario Regulation 406/00 is revoked. 

2. (1) Item 1 of Table 1 to the Regulation is revoked.

(2) Item 2 of Table 1 to the Regulation is revoked and the following substituted:

 

Column 1	Column 2
2. Lake Erie North Shore	The land within the political boundaries of the Town of Pelee Island and Essex, Kent and Elgin counties, except the part of Kent County lying to the north of the Thames River

3. Table 2 of the Regulation is amended by striking out Column 1 of items 1, 2, 3 and 4 under the subheading “VQA — Viticultural Area — VQA” in Column 1 and substituting the following:

4. Prince Edward County

Commencement

4. This Regulation comes into force on the later of January 1, 2013 and the day it is filed.
