Amending Reg. 552 of R.R.O. 1990
(GENERAL)
1. The definition of “physiotherapist” in subsection 1 (1) of Regulation 552 of the Revised Regulations of Ontario, 1990 is revoked.
2. Sections 21 and 21.1 of the Regulation are revoked.
3. Subsection 35 (10) of the Regulation is revoked.
4. (1) Subparagraphs 1 i, ii and iii of subsection 38.4 (1) of the Regulation are revoked and the following substituted:
i. the physician or practitioner who rendered the service, or
ii. the medical director of the laboratory in which the service was rendered.
(2) Subparagraph 14 iv of subsection 38.4 (1) of the Regulation is revoked and the following substituted:
iv. by the Plan, if the service was rendered by a podiatrist who is a member of the College of Chiropodists of Ontario or by an osteopath.
Commencement
5. This Regulation comes into force on August 1, 2013.
