Amending Reg. 628 of R.R.O. 1990

(VEHICLE PERMITS)

1. (1) Paragraph 1 of subsection 17 (1) of Regulation 628 of the Revised Regulations of Ontario, 1990 is revoked and the following substituted:

1. For a permit for a motor vehicle or trailer, $32.

(2) Paragraph 2 of subsection 17 (1) of the Regulation is revoked and the following substituted:

2. For a permit and number plates for a motor vehicle, $45.

(3) Paragraph 2 of subsection 17 (1) of the Regulation, as remade by subsection (2), is revoked and the following substituted:

2. For a permit and number plates for a motor vehicle, $57.

(4) Paragraph 3 of subsection 17 (1) of the Regulation is revoked and the following substituted:

3. For a permit and number plate for a trailer, $72.

(5) Paragraph 5 of subsection 17 (1) of the Regulation is revoked and the following substituted:

5. For a duplicate validated permit for a motor vehicle or a duplicate permit for a trailer, in case of loss or destruction, $32.

(6) Paragraph 6 of subsection 17 (1) of the Regulation is revoked and the following substituted:

6. For a duplicate validated permit, number plates and evidence of validation for a motor vehicle, in case of loss or destruction, $45.

(7) Paragraph 6 of subsection 17 (1) of the Regulation, as remade by subsection (6), is revoked and the following substituted:

6. For a duplicate validated permit, number plates and evidence of validation for a motor vehicle, in case of loss or destruction, $57.

(8) Paragraph 6.0.0.1 of subsection 17 (1) of the Regulation is revoked and the following substituted:

6.0.0.1. For a duplicate permit and number plate for a trailer, in case of loss or destruction, $48.

(9) Paragraph 7 of subsection 17 (1) of the Regulation is revoked and the following substituted:

7. For a motor vehicle permit and number plates bearing a requested number, $276.64.

(10) Subsection 17 (4) of the Regulation is amended by striking out “$200” at the end and substituting “$276.64”.

Commencement

2. (1) Subject to subsections (2), (3) and (4), this Regulation comes into force on the day it is filed.

(2) Subsections 1 (9) and (10) come into force on the later of January 1, 2015 and the day this Regulation is filed.

(3) Subsections 1 (2) and (6) come into force on November 1, 2016.

(4) Subsections 1 (1), (3), (4), (5), (7) and (8) come into force on January 1, 2017.
