Amending O. Reg. 222/98
(GENERAL)
1. (1) Subsection 28 (1) of Ontario Regulation 222/98 is amended by adding the following paragraph:
45. A payment received by a class member from the Nova Scotia Home for Colored Children Settlement Agreement.
(2) Subsection 28 (1) of the Regulation is amended by adding the following paragraphs:
46. Payments made under the Athlete Assistance Program, administered by the Department of Canadian Heritage.
47. Payments made by Ontario or Canada pursuant to an aboriginal land claim settlement agreement.
2. Sub-subparagraph 2 i A of subsection 38 (1) of the Regulation is amended by striking out “Day Nurseries Act” and substituting “Child Care and Early Years Act, 2014”.
3. (1) Subsection 41 (1) of the Regulation is amended by adding the following paragraph:
19.2 Subject to subsection (2), a rent supplement funded by the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care that is used to pay for permanent supportive rental housing for persons who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless.
(2) Subsection 41 (2) of the Regulation is amended by striking out “paragraph 19 of subsection (1)” and substituting “paragraph 19 or 19.2 of subsection (1)”.
4. (1) Subparagraph 1 v of subsection 43 (1) of the Regulation is amended by striking out “instructional supplies or transportation” and substituting “instructional supplies, transportation or child care”.
(2) Paragraph 2.1 of subsection 43 (1) of the Regulation is amended by striking out “instructional supplies and equipment and transportation” and substituting “instructional supplies and equipment, transportation and child care”.
(3) Subsection 43 (1) of the Regulation is amended by adding the following paragraph:
33. A payment received by a class member from the Nova Scotia Home for Colored Children Settlement Agreement.
(4) Subsection 43 (1) of the Regulation is amended by adding the following paragraph:
34. Payments made under the Athlete Assistance Program, administered by the Department of Canadian Heritage.
5. Section 53 of the Regulation is amended by adding the following subsection:
(4) Income support shall be paid in the manner directed by the Director.
Commencement
6. (1) Subject to subsection (2), this Regulation comes into force on the day it is filed.
(2) Subsections 1 (1) and 4 (3) are deemed to have come into force on July 1, 2014.
