Amending O. Reg. 400/98

(TAX MATTERS - TAX RATES FOR SCHOOL PURPOSES)

1. (1) Subsection 1 (1) of Ontario Regulation 400/98 is amended by,

(a) striking out “2015” and substituting “2016”; and

(b) striking out “0.195” and substituting “0.188”.

(2) Subsection 1 (2) of the Regulation is amended by,

(a) striking out “2015” and substituting “2016”; and

(b) striking out “0.04875” and substituting “0.04700”. 

2. Subsection 2 (2) of the Regulation is amended by striking out “2015” and substituting “2016”. 

3. (1) Subsection 3 (2) of the Regulation is amended by striking out “2015” and substituting “2016”. 

(2) Section 3 of the Regulation is amended by adding the following subsections:

(2.1) For 2014, the tax rate for school purposes for the industrial property class in the District of Thunder Bay, Armstrong DSA Locality Education is 0.01220000.

(2.2) For 2015, the tax rate for school purposes for the industrial property class in the District of Thunder Bay, Armstrong DSA Locality Education is 0.01190000.

4. (1) Subsection 9 (8.1) of the Regulation is amended by striking out “2015” in the portion before paragraph 1 and substituting “2016”. 

(2) Paragraph 4 of subsection 9 (8.1) of the Regulation is amended by striking out “0.01190000” and substituting “0.01180000”. 

(3) Subsection 9 (8.2) of the Regulation is amended by striking out “2015” in the portion before paragraph 1 and substituting “2016”. 

(4) Paragraph 6 of subsection 9 (8.2) of the Regulation is amended by striking out “0.01190000” and substituting “0.01180000”. 

(5) Subsection 9 (8.3) of the Regulation is amended by striking out “2015” in the portion before paragraph 1 and substituting “2016”. 

(6) Paragraph 3 of subsection 9 (8.3) of the Regulation is amended by striking out “0.01190000” and substituting “0.01180000”. 

5. Tables 1, 2, 3 and 4 to the Regulation are revoked and the following substituted:
