Amending O. Reg. 599/06

(MUNICIPAL SERVICES CORPORATIONS)

1. Subsection 15 (1) of Ontario Regulation 599/06 is amended by striking out “or” at the end of clause (a), by adding “or” at the end of clause (b) and by adding the following clause:

(c) if,

(i) the purpose of the assistance is to facilitate the provision by the corporation of affordable housing, as defined in a by-law made by the municipality respecting provision of assistance to the corporation for this purpose, and

(ii) the by-law contains policies regarding public eligibility for the housing units provided as part of the affordable housing.

Commencement

2. This Regulation comes into force on the later of July 1, 2016 and the day it is filed.
