Amending O. Reg. 216/16

(CALCULATION OF FEES FOR PUPILS FOR THE 2016-2017 SCHOOL BOARD FISCAL YEAR)

1. (1) Subsection 3 (3) of Ontario Regulation 216/16 is amended by adding the following paragraphs:

23.1 Determine an amount on account of the Crown contribution and stabilization adjustment for benefits trusts amount for elementary school pupils as follows:

i. Take the Crown contribution and stabilization adjustment for benefits trusts amount for the board, as determined under subsection 42.1 (1) of the grant regulation.

ii. Divide the amount determined under subparagraph i by the day school A.D.E. of pupils of the board.

iii. Multiply the amount determined under subparagraph ii by the day school A.D.E. of elementary school pupils of the board.

23.2 Add the amount determined under paragraph 23.1 to the amount determined under paragraph 23.

(2) Paragraph 24 of subsection 3 (3) of the Regulation is amended by striking out “paragraph 23” and substituting “paragraph 23.2”.

(3) Subsection 3 (4) of the Regulation is amended by adding the following paragraphs:

22.1 Determine an amount on account of the Crown contribution and stabilization adjustment for benefits trusts amount for secondary school pupils as follows:

i. Take the Crown contribution and stabilization adjustment for benefits trusts amount for the board, as determined under subsection 42.1 (1) of the grant regulation.

ii. Divide the amount determined under subparagraph i by the day school A.D.E. of pupils of the board.

iii. Multiply the amount determined under subparagraph ii by the day school A.D.E. of secondary school pupils of the board.

22.2 Add the amount determined under paragraph 22.1 to the amount determined under paragraph 22.

(4) Paragraph 23 of subsection 3 (4) of the Regulation is amended by striking out “paragraph 22” and substituting “paragraph 22.2”.

Commencement

2. This Regulation comes into force on the day it is filed.
