Amending O. Reg. 278/98

(GENERAL)

1. Section 4 of Ontario Regulation 278/98 is amended by adding the following subsection:

(2.1) Despite subsection (2), if there is a vacancy created by an increase to the number of members of the Board who are not members at large, the term of office of the member filling the vacancy may commence at any time.

2. (1) Section 2 of Schedule 6 to the Regulation is amended by striking out “12 members” in the portion before paragraph 1 and substituting “14 members”.

(2) Paragraph 2 of section 2 of Schedule 6 to the Regulation is amended by striking out “one member” in the portion before subparagraph i and substituting “3 members”.

3. This Regulation comes into force on the day it is filed.
