Amending O. Reg. 201/96

(GENERAL)

1. (1) Paragraph 1 of subsection 2 (1) of Ontario Regulation 201/96 is revoked and the following substituted:

1. Persons who are receiving a professional service referred to in paragraph 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8 or 9 of subsection 2 (7) of the Home Care and Community Services Act, 1994 that is provided or arranged by,

i. a local health integration network as defined in subsection 2 (1) of the Local Health System Integration Act, 2006,

ii. an approved agency within the meaning of the Home Care and Community Services Act, 1994, or

iii. a community care access centre as defined in subsection 1 (1) of Ontario Regulation 386/99 (Provision of Community Services) made under that Act.

(2) Paragraph 1 of subsection 2 (1) of the Regulation, as amended by subsection (1), is amended by adding “or” at the end of subparagraph i, by striking out “or” at the end of subparagraph ii and by striking out subparagraph iii.

Commencement

2. (1) Subject to subsections (2) and (3), this Regulation comes into force on the day it is filed.

(2) Subsection 1 (1) comes into force on the later of May 1, 2017 and the day this Regulation is filed.

(3) Subsection 1 (2) comes into force on the later of the day section 34 of the Patients First Act, 2016 comes into force and the day this Regulation is filed.
