Amending O. Reg. 175/98

(GENERAL)

1. (1) Subparagraph iii of paragraph 4 of Class G of Schedule 1 to Ontario Regulation 175/98 is revoked and the following substituted:

iii. Erection and installation, by the manufacturer or as a business, of,

A. boilers,

B. engines,

C. heavy machinery,

D. iron stairs,

E. ornamental metal work on buildings, and

F. tanks.

(2) Subparagraph v of paragraph 4 of Class G of Schedule 1 to the Regulation is revoked and the following substituted:

v. Gas or electric welding.

(3) Subparagraph vi of paragraph 4 of Class G of Schedule 1 to the Regulation is revoked.

(4) Subparagraph vii of paragraph 5 of Class G of Schedule 1 to the Regulation is revoked.

(5) Subparagraphs xii and xv of paragraph 6 of Class G of Schedule 1 to the Regulation are revoked.

(6) Paragraph 8 of Class I of Schedule 1 to the Regulation is amended by adding the following subparagraphs:

iii. Cleaning of industrial equipment and machinery.

iv. Custom welding services, except in construction.

(7) Paragraph 13 of Class I of Schedule 1 to the Regulation is amended by adding the following subparagraphs:

iii. Window cleaning.

iv. Removal of asbestos and other toxic insulation material.

(8) Class I of Schedule 1 to the Regulation is amended by adding the following paragraphs:

28. Home inspection.

29. Commercial diving.

Commencement

2. This Regulation comes into force on the later of January 1, 2018 and the day it is filed.
