Amending O. Reg. 160/04

(INDEPENDENT FOREST AUDITS)

1. Subsection 1 (3) of Ontario Regulation 160/04 is amended by striking out “five years” and substituting “10 years”.

2. Subsection 4 (1) of the Regulation is amended by striking out “and” at the end of clause (e), by adding “and” at the end of clause (f) and by adding the following clause:

(g) assess whether the management unit has been managed in a manner consistent with the principles of sustainability set out in subsection 2 (3) of the Act.

3. Subsection 5 (3) of the Regulation is revoked and the following substituted:

(3) An audit report shall state conclusions and findings with respect to the matters listed in subsection 4 (1) based on the evidence identified during the audit.

Commencement

4. This Regulation comes into force on the later of January 1, 2018 and the day it is filed.
