Amending O. Reg. 238/05

(GENERAL)

1. (1) Clauses 1 (1) (a), (b), (c) and (d) of Ontario Regulation 238/05 are revoked and the following substituted:

(a) six members who are independent of a designated body and who are appointed by the Lieutenant Governor in Council; and

(b) five members who are appointed by the Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario.

(2) Subsection 1 (2) of the Regulation is amended by striking out “clauses (1) (b), (c) and (d)” and substituting “clause (1) (b)”.

2. Subsection 5 (6) of the Regulation is revoked.

Commencement

3. This Regulation comes into force on the later of January 1, 2018 and the day it is filed.
