Amending O. Reg. 316/07

(DESIGNATION AND CLASSIFICATION OF PROVINCIAL PARKS)

1. (1) The item for Kopka River Provincial Park in Table 1 of Ontario Regulation 316/07 is revoked and the following substituted:

 

Kopka River Provincial Park (Waterway Class)

In Unsurveyed Territory, in the Territorial District of Thunder Bay, containing 31,303 hectares, more or less, being composed of those Parts of the said Unsurveyed Territory designated as Parts 1 to 3, both inclusive, on a Plan known as Kopka River Provincial Park (Waterway Class), filed on November 20, 2012, with the Office of the Surveyor General of Ontario in the Ministry of Natural Resources.

 

(2) The item for Pigeon River Provincial Park in Table 1 of the Regulation is revoked and the following substituted:

 

Pigeon River Provincial Park (Natural Environment Class)

In the Geographic Township of Pardee, (Now in the Municipal Township of Neebing) in the Territorial District of Thunder Bay containing 943 hectares, more or less, being composed of those Parts of the said Geographic Township designated as Parts 1 to 3, both inclusive, on a plan known as Pigeon River Provincial Park (Natural Environment Class), filed on November 06, 2014, with the Office of the Surveyor General of Ontario in the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry.

 

(3) The item for Port Burwell Provincial Park in Table 1 of the Regulation is revoked and the following substituted:

 

Port Burwell Provincial Park (Recreational Class)

In the Geographic Township of Bayham, Municipality of Bayham, in the County of Elgin, containing 239 hectares, more or less, being composed of those Parts of the said Geographic Township designated as Parts 1 to 3, both inclusive, on a plan known as Port Burwell Provincial Park (Recreational Class), filed on September 5, 2017 with the Office of the Surveyor General of Ontario in the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry

 

(4) The item for Stoco Fen Provincial Park in Table 1 of the Regulation is revoked and the following substituted:

 

Stoco Fen Provincial Park (Nature Reserve Class)

In the Geographic Township of Hungerford, Municipality of Tweed, in the County of Hastings, containing 350 hectares, more or less, being composed of those Parts of the said Geographic Township designated as Parts 1 and 2, on a plan known as Stoco Fen Provincial Park (Nature Reserve Class), filed on June 15, 2017, with the Office of the Surveyor General of Ontario in the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry.

 

(5) The item for The Massasauga Provincial Park in Table 1 of the Regulation is revoked and the following substituted:

 

The Massasauga Provincial Park (Natural Environment Class)

In the Geographic Townships of Conger and Cowper, Islands and bed of Georgian Bay in front of the Geographic Townships of Conger and Cowper, in the Municipal Township of The Archipelago, and in the Geographic Township of Foley, in the Municipal Township of Seguin, in the Territorial District of Parry Sound, containing 13,264 hectares, more or less, being composed of all those Parts of the said Geographic Townships and islands and bed of Georgian Bay in front of the said Townships designated as Parts 1 to 99 both inclusive, on a plan known as The Massasauga Provincial Park (Natural Environment Class), filed on August 16, 2017, with the Office of the Surveyor General of Ontario in the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry.

2. This Regulation comes into force on the later of January 1, 2018 and the day it is filed.
