Amending O. Reg. 672/00

(ONTARIO MEDIA DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION)

1. The definition of “Minister” in section 1 of Ontario Regulation 672/00 is revoked and the following substituted:

“Minister” means the Minister of Tourism, Culture and Sport.

2. Subsection 6 (4) of the Regulation is amended by striking out “Board” and substituting “board”.

3. (1) Subclause 8 (3) (d) (i) of the Regulation is revoked and the following substituted:

(i) a credit union within the meaning of the Credit Unions and Caisses Populaires Act, 1994,

(2) Clause 8 (3) (e) of the Regulation is amended by striking out “trust company” and substituting “trust corporation” in subclause (ii), by striking out “or” at the end of subclause (ii), by adding “or” at the end of subclause (iii) and by adding the following subclause:

(iv) guaranteed investment certificates, deposit receipts, term deposits, deposit notes, certificates of deposit or investment or other similar instruments that are issued, guaranteed or endorsed by a credit union within the meaning of the Credit Unions and Caisses Populaires Act, 1994.

4. (1) Subsection 10 (1) of the Regulation is amended by striking out “the Public Service Act” at the end and substituting “ Part III of the Public Service of Ontario Act, 2006”.

(2) Subsection 10 (2) of the Regulation is amended by striking out “Board” at the end and substituting “board”.

5. Subsection 11 (1) of the Regulation is amended by striking out “the Public Service Act” at the end and substituting “Part III of the Public Service of Ontario Act, 2006”.

6. (1) Subsection 14 (1) of the Regulation is amended by striking out “Provincial Auditor” at the end and substituting “Auditor General”.

(2) Subsection 14 (2) of the Regulation is amended by striking out “Provincial Auditor” and substituting “Auditor General”.

Commencement

7. This Regulation comes into force on the later of January 1, 2018 and the day it is filed.
