Prescribed Provisions as Basis for Adminstrative Penalties

Prescribed provisions

1. The following provisions are the prescribed provisions for the purposes of subsection 30 (1) of the Act:

1. Subsection 2 (2) of the Act.

2. Paragraphs 1 and 2 of subsection 5 (1) of the Act.

3. Clauses 6 (1) (a) and (b), 6 (2) (a) and (b) and 6 (3) (a) and (b) of the Act.

4. Subsections 7 (2) and (3) of the Act.

Commencement

2. This Regulation comes into force on the latest of,

(a) the day section 30 of the Schedule 3 to the Strengthening Protection for Ontario Consumers Act, 2017 comes into force;

(b) the day section 36 of the Schedule 3 to the Strengthening Protection for Ontario Consumers Act, 2017 comes into force;

(c) July 1, 2018; and

(d) the day this Regulation is filed.
