Definition of Approved Drug Screening EquipmenT

Approved drug screening equipment

1. For the purposes of sections 44.2, 48.0.2, 48.0.3 and 48.0.4 of the Act,

“approved drug screening equipment” means drug screening equipment that is designed to ascertain the presence of a drug in a person’s body and that is prescribed by or approved under the Criminal Code (Canada).

Commencement

2. This Regulation comes into force on the later of the day section 5 of Schedule 4 to the Cannabis, Smoke-Free Ontario and Road Safety Statute Law Amendment Act, 2017 comes into force and the day this Regulation is filed.
