Amending Reg. 950 of R.R.O. 1990

(PROCEEDINGS COMMENCED BY CERTIFICATE OF OFFENCE)

1. (1) Schedule 43 to Regulation 950 of the Revised Regulations of Ontario, 1990 is amended by adding the following items:

Novice driver — presence of drug

subsection 44.2 (4)

 

103.11

Young driver — presence of drug

subsection 44.2 (6)

 

(2) Items 139.2 and 139.3 of Schedule 43 to the Regulation are revoked and the following substituted:

Unauthorized red and blue lights

subsection 62 (14.1)

 

139.3

Unauthorized red and blue lights — commercial motor vehicle

subsection 62 (14.1)

 

(3) Item 341 of Schedule 43 to the Regulation is amended by striking out “section 130” in Column 3 and substituting “subsection 130 (1)”.

Commencement

2. (1) Subject to subsections (2), (3) and (4), this Regulation comes into force on the day it is filed.

(2) Subsection 1 (1) comes into force on the later of the day section 5 of Schedule 4 to the Cannabis, Smoke-Free Ontario and Road Safety Statute Law Amendment Act, 2017 comes into force and the day this Regulation is filed.

(3) Subsection 1 (2) comes into force on the later of the day subsection 14 (1) of Schedule 4 to the Cannabis, Smoke-Free Ontario and Road Safety Statute Law Amendment Act, 2017 comes into force and the day this Regulation is filed.

(4) Subsection 1 (3) comes into force on the later of the day section 17 of Schedule 4 to the Cannabis, Smoke-Free Ontario and Road Safety Statute Law Amendment Act, 2017 comes into force and the day this Regulation is filed.
