Amending O. Reg. 327/18

(NON-APPLICATION OF ACT TO CERTAIN CANNABIS AND CANNABIS PRODUCTS)

1. Section 1 of Ontario Regulation 327/18 is revoked and the following substituted:

Industrial hemp

1. The Act does not apply to activities respecting,

(a) any form of industrial hemp, as those terms are defined by the Industrial Hemp Regulations made under the Cannabis Act (Canada), to which those Regulations apply; or

(b) derivatives or products made from derivatives that are subject to an exemption under section 2 of those Regulations.

Commencement

2. This Regulation comes into force on the later of the day subsection 5 (4) of Schedule 1 (Cannabis Act, 2017) to the Cannabis, Smoke-Free Ontario and Road Safety Statute Law Amendment Act, 2017 comes into force and the day it is filed.
