Amending O. Reg. 347/18
(EXEMPTIONS)
1. (1) Subparagraph 1 i of section 12 of Ontario Regulation 347/18 is amended by striking out “Alcohol and Gaming Regulation and Public Protection Act, 1996” and substituting “Alcohol, Cannabis and Gaming Regulation and Public Protection Act, 1996”.
(2) Subparagraph 1 ii of section 12 of the Regulation is revoked and the following substituted:
ii. The Registrar established under section 6 of the Alcohol, Cannabis and Gaming Regulation and Public Protection Act, 1996.
(3) Paragraph 3 of section 12 of the Regulation is amended by striking out “Registrar of Alcohol, Gaming and Racing” and substituting “Registrar”.
(4) Paragraph 4 of section 12 of the Regulation is amended by striking out “conducted under the Gaming Control Act, 1992” and substituting “conducted under the Cannabis Licence Act, 2018, the Gaming Control Act, 1992”.
Commencement
2. (1) Subject to subsections (2), (3) and (4), this Regulation comes into force on the day it is filed.
(2) Subsections 1 (1) and (2) come into force on the later of the day subsection 50 (1) of Schedule 2 to the Cannabis Statute Law Amendment Act, 2018 comes into force and the day this Regulation is filed.
(3) Subsection 1 (3) comes into force on the later of the day section 52 of Schedule 2 to the Cannabis Statute Law Amendment Act, 2018 comes into force and the day this Regulation is filed.
(4) Subsection 1 (4) comes into force on the later of the day subsection 3 (1) of Schedule 2 to the Cannabis Statute Law Amendment Act, 2018 comes into force and the day this Regulation is filed.
