Vegetables for processing - extending 2019 negotiation deadlines

Extension of deadlines for negotiation in Regulation 440

1. (1) Despite the deadlines set out in Column 4 of the Schedule to Regulation 440 of the Revised Regulations of Ontario, 1990 (Vegetables for Processing — Marketing) made under the Act, with respect to Item 3 (Sweet corn) and Item 4 (Tomatoes) in that Schedule, the deadlines for negotiations taking place in 2019 for sweet corn and tomatoes shall be extended by 14 calendar days beyond the deadlines set out in Column 4 opposite those items, subject to subsection (2).

(2) The extension provided for in subsection (1) does not apply to extend the deadline for a negotiating agency if an agreement is adopted or settled by that negotiating agency with respect to sweet corn or tomatoes on or after January 1, 2019 but before March 1, 2019.

Commencement

2. This Regulation comes into force on the day it is filed.
