Amending Reg. 682 of R.R.O. 1990

(LABORATORIES)

1. Paragraph 6 of subsection 4 (1) of Regulation 682 of the Revised Regulations of Ontario, 1990 is amended by striking out “or severe combined immune deficiency” and substituting “severe combined immune deficiency or permanent hearing loss risk”.

2. Paragraph 8 of Appendix B to the Regulation is revoked and the following substituted:

8. Newborn Screening Test for amino acidopathies, fatty acid oxidation defects, organic acidemias, endocrinopathies, hemoglobinopathies, biotinidase, galactosemia, cystic fibrosis, severe combined immune deficiency or permanent hearing loss risk.

Commencement

3. This Regulation comes into force on the later of July 1, 2019 and the day it is filed.
