Amending O. Reg. 178/11

(SOLVENCY FUNDING RELIEF FOR CERTAIN PUBLIC SECTOR PENSION PLANS)

1. (1) Subsection 1 (1) of Ontario Regulation 178/11 is amended by striking out “Subject to subsection (4)” at the beginning.

(2) Subsection 1 (3) of the Regulation is amended by striking out “Subject to subsection (4)” at the beginning.

(3) Subsection 1 (4) of the Regulation is revoked.

2. Sections 7.1 to 7.6 of the Regulation are revoked.

3. (1) Subsection 15 (1) of the Regulation is amended by striking out “Subject to subsection (2)” at the beginning.

(2) Subsection 15 (2) of the Regulation is revoked.

4. Item 24 of Schedule 1 to the Regulation is revoked.

Commencement

5. This Regulation comes into force on the later of July 1, 2020 and the day it is filed.
