Amending O. Reg. 34/10

(STATUTORY ACCIDENT BENEFITS SCHEDULE - EFFECTIVE SEPTEMBER 1, 2010)

1. Ontario Regulation 34/10 is amended by adding the following section:

Application of Regulation 672, O. Reg. 776/93 and O. Reg. 403/96

68.1 For greater certainty, the following rules apply with respect to accidents that occurred before September 1, 2010:

1.  Regulation 672 of the Revised Regulations of Ontario, 1990 (Statutory Accident Benefits Schedule — Accidents before January 1, 1994), as it read immediately before it was revoked by Ontario Regulation 346/20, continues to apply in respect of accidents occurring before January 1, 1994.

2.  Ontario Regulation 776/93 (Statutory Accident Benefits Schedule — Accidents after December 31, 1993 and before November 1, 1996), as it read immediately before it was revoked by Ontario Regulation 347/20, continues to apply in respect of accidents occurring after December 31, 1993 and before November 1, 1996.

3.  Ontario Regulation 403/96 (Statutory Accident Benefits Schedule — Accidents on or after November 1, 1996), as it read immediately before it was revoked by Ontario Regulation 348/20, continues to apply in respect of accidents occurring on or after November 1, 1996 and before September 1, 2010.

2. This Regulation comes into force on the day it is filed.
