Amending O. Reg. 318/18

(ADMINISTRATIVE PENALTIES - GENERAL)

1. Section 1 of Ontario Regulation 318/18 is revoked and the following substituted:

Amount

1. For the purposes of subsection 30 (3) of the Act, the amount of an administrative penalty that the Director may impose in an order in respect of a contravention of a provision set out in Column 1 of Table 1 is,

(a)  $200, if the ticket business that has contravened or is contravening the provision is not a corporation; or

(b)  $3,000, if the ticket business that has contravened or is contravening the provision is a corporation.

2. Subsections 2 (1) and (2) of the Regulation are amended by striking out “listed in any of items 2 to 11 of Column 1 of Table 1” wherever it appears and substituting in each case “listed in any of the items of Column 1 of Table 1”.

Commencement

3. This Regulation comes into force on the later of the day subsection 1 (4) of Schedule 58 to the Protecting What Matters Most Act (Budget Measures), 2019 comes into force and the day this Regulation is filed.
