Amending O. Reg. 332/12

1. Clause 1.4.1.3.(1)(a) of Division A of Ontario Regulation 332/12 is amended by adding the following Subclause:

(0.0.i) section 3 of the Building Transit Faster Act, 2020 with respect to the issuance of a permit under that section,

2. Item 106 of Table 1.3.1.2. of Division B of the Regulation is revoked.

3. Table 1.3.2.1. of Division B of the Regulation is amended by adding the following Items:

8. Sentence 4.1.8.2.(1) of Division B of the Regulation is amended by adding the following:

T_s = fundamental lateral period of vibration of the building or structure in seconds in the direction under consideration, as described in Sentence 4.1.8.1.(7),

9. Item 5 of Table 4.1.8.4.H. of Division B of the Regulation is amended by striking out “0.87” in Column 4 and substituting “0.98”.

10. Clause 4.1.8.10.(2)(a) of Division B of the Regulation is amended by striking out “Types 1, 3, 4, 5 and 7” and substituting “Types 1, 3, 4, 5, 7 and 9”.

11. (1) Tables 4.1.8.11.A., 4.1.8.11.B., 4.1.8.11.C., 4.1.8.11.D. and 4.1.8.11.E. of Division B of the Regulation are amended by,

(a) striking out “S_a(0.2)/S_a(5.0)” in the heading to Column 1 of each Table and substituting in each case “S(0.2)/S(5.0)”; and

(b) striking out “S(0.2)/S(0.5)” in Note 1 to each Table and substituting in each case “S(0.2)/S(5.0)”.

(2) Item 1 of Table 4.1.8.11.B. of Division B of the Regulation is amended by striking out “1” in Column 5 and substituting “1⁽⁶⁾”.

12. Clause 9.33.1.2.(2)(b) of Division B of the Regulation is amended by striking out “November 1, 2013” at the end and substituting “March 16, 2015”.

13. (1) Sentence 1.3.1.5.(1) of Division C of the Regulation is amended by adding the following Clause:

(0.a) section 3 of the Building Transit Faster Act, 2020 with respect to the issuance of a permit under that section,

(2) Sentences 1.3.1.5.(3.1) and (3.2) of Division C of the Regulation are revoked.

Commencement

14. This Regulation comes into force on the day it is filed.
