Amending Reg. 347 of R.R.O. 1990

(GENERAL - WASTE MANAGEMENT)

1. Subparagraph 1 ii of subsection 3 (2) of Regulation 347 of the Revised Regulations of Ontario, 1990 is amended by striking out the portion before sub-subparagraph A and substituting the following:

ii. the waste is neither excess soil, other than excess soil described in subsection 3 (8) of Ontario Regulation 406/19 (On-Site and Excess Soil Management) made under the Act, nor processed organic waste from a composting facility, and the waste is transferred by a generator for direct transportation to a site,

2. Section 2 of Ontario Regulation 408/19 is revoked.

Commencement

3. (1) Subject to subsection (2), this Regulation comes into force on the day it is filed.

(2) Section 1 comes into force on January 1, 2021.
